Supplier Performance Analytics for Telecom Industry

This project was developed for a telecommunications company with the objective of measuring the performance of all its suppliers, including major brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Motorola, and others.

Project Overview

The solution consisted of building an analytical framework to evaluate key logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, delivery lead time, order fulfillment rate, damage rate during transit, and replenishment lead times, among others. The model enabled performance comparison across suppliers, identification of improvement opportunities, and provided reliable insights to support strategic decision-making in logistics, procurement, and supplier management.

  • Power Query & DAX for KPI calculations

Process

  1. Define objectives and requirements with the Logistics team of the telecommunications company.
  2. Analyze and prepare the data from data source in SAP.
  3. Build the data model Create the analytical model with relationships, measures, and business logic.
  4. Build dashboards, verify calculations, test with users, and make adjustments.
  5. Publish to production, train users, monitor performance, and update the project as needed.
